如果有机会去柏林，请一定不要错过东柏林市中心的Sammlung Boros Gallery，一座由空袭掩体改建而成的现代艺术馆。
这座庞大的混凝土碉楼由帝国铁路营建于1942年，外墙厚1.8米，层板更厚达3米，可满足到达附近铁路枢纽的3,000名乘客于意外空袭下的避难之需。 战后掩体被列为文化遗产，并在党的决定下用于贮藏蔬菜。
现代艺术收藏家Christian boros于2003年买下了它，在来自Realarchitektur的建筑师jens casper和petra petersson的帮助下，拆除战后的加建，合并空间，拓展地上五层的全部面积为展馆。。额外地，建筑师亦在掩体的顶层为Christian boros一家加建了宽广的居所，同样由混凝土现场浇筑。
Christian boros的收藏遍及绘画、摄影、雕塑、视频和装置。 艾未未的木雕作品“Tree”亦位列其中。

犹太人；奥地利生澳大利亚建筑师，包豪斯学派在澳大利亚的实践者；
包豪斯学院被迫关闭之际他仅十岁，但因其后赴美师从流亡美国的Walter Gropius和Marcel Breuer，他被视为最后的包豪斯人物。
Harry Seidler以现代主义家庭建筑和高层建筑闻名，一生中设计了超过180个建筑，包括悉尼的地标譬如Australia Square, 1967/Horizon Apartments, 1998等。
