完成于1972年，The Gissing House是澳大利亚建筑师Harry Seidler的建筑作品。 可能出于设计认同，The Gissing House的建筑委托人和所有者从未任意改变建筑细节，直至数十载后迁居他处。。 宛如深藏时光胶囊中40年，The Gissing House仍然保留着完美的世纪中叶气氛。
The Gissing House目前正在悉尼以北的Wahroonga地区挂牌出售，悉尼的地产代理Modern House在网页提供了更多历史细节。
关于建筑师Harry Seidler(1923–2006):
犹太人；奥地利生澳大利亚建筑师，包豪斯学派在澳大利亚的实践者；
包豪斯学院被迫关闭之际他仅十岁，但因其后赴美师从流亡美国的Walter Gropius和Marcel Breuer，他被视为最后的包豪斯人物。
Harry Seidler以现代主义家庭建筑和高层建筑闻名，一生中设计了超过180个建筑，包括悉尼的地标譬如Australia Square, 1967/Horizon Apartments, 1998等。
